Get Covered Today

By Nov 8, 2017 No Comments

Don’t let the Trump administration’s sabotage of the Affordable Care Act cause you to miss getting covered. Open Enrollment is here, and now is the time to sign up for health care coverage.

Open Enrollment is the period of time each year when you can sign up for health insurance if you don’t already have coverage through your job, Medicare, Medicaid, Tricare or another form of health coverage. The enrollment period ends on December 15th – so now is the time to act.

Despite the Trump administration’s attempts to sabotage health care, health care coverage is more affordable than you might think. Eight out of 10 people can find plans for less than $75 per month through HealthCare.gov. Under the Affordable Care Act, most people qualify for financial help to lower their monthly premiums.

Please remember that getting covered is the law. If you aren’t covered, you could face a penalty on your taxes of $695 or more. If you have any questions about Open Enrollment, you can call 1-800-318-2596 for free, confidential assistance – available 24/7.

So make sure you head to HealthCare.gov before Open Enrollment ends on December 15th.

And don’t forget to let your friends and family know about Open Enrollment. Since the administration slashed the advertising budget, we need your help spreading the word so others can get covered today.
